Ethereum (ETH) is the second most popular cryptocurrency in the world. The list of Forex brokers that accept payments via Ethereum is presented below. Ethereum's acclaim among the traders is based on its faster payment confirmations and higher flexibility of use cases (smart contracts, for example). Many Forex companies offer ETH-based deposit and withdrawal options alongside other cryptocurrencies. Additionally, Ethereum can be traded in the form of pairs at such brokers — either against traditional currencies (ETH/USD, ETH/EUR, etc.) or against other cryptos (BTC/ETH).
Below, you can see the list of FX brokerages that either accept Ethereum as a deposit/withdrawal method or allow trading in ETH/USD (or some other ETH/XXX pairs). Ethereum can also be used as an account currency with some of these brokers. With such accounts, trader's profits, losses, and balance are calculated in ETH. You can also see our list of brokers for general cryptocurrency trading for a broader choice of crypto-friendly Forex companies. You will find 87 brokers listed in the table below.
Ethereum is rarely used in its pure form for payments (its derivative, USDT (ERC-20), is generally more widely accepted). At the same time, the liquidity of ETH/USD isn't too far below that of BTC/USD. Yet there is no lack of reasons to choose one of the Forex brokers that work with Ethereum:
- You are an Ethereum maximalist. You can open an account with an Ethereum Forex broker to make the process of moving funds to and from the account easier if you avoid using fiat and other cryptocurrencies.
- You are looking for a way to invest in cryptocurrencies via a familiar channel (Forex brokers).
- You have your own trading ideas for ETH/USD, which is a unique pair requiring its own strategies and techniques.
- You would like to be able to trade ETH/USD over weekends while fiat currency market is closed.
- You would like to go bearish on Ethereum without dealing with cryptocurrency exchanges.
