Comparison of the old and
new affiliate program
Let's imagine that in a month a referral attracted by the affiliate program has traded 100 lots in RoboForex for the EURUSD pair.
According to the old program, the commission for 100 lots for the EURUSD pair would be 650 USD (6.5$ per lot). In addition, the reward under the loyalty program would amount to +15% of this amount, i.e. +97.5 USD.
Total: the partner would have received 747.5 USD per month under the old program.
Under the new program, the partner will receive 880 USD ($8.8 per lot) of volume commission. The loyalty program has been canceled, but +20% of the swap is credited instead. It is still difficult to say how long clients will hold positions on average, whether they will be mostly long or short positions, whether the swap and its volume will be positive or negative, but in our example, let it be one week of holding in total and 20 lots out of 100. Then it turns out that in addition, the partner will be charged up to 230.4 USD commission from swaps of clients attracted by him under ideal conditions. But in reality, it can be much less.
Total: 880 USD with volume commission + 230.4 USD for swaps = 1110.4 USD partner's earnings.
It is clear that the calculations are hypothetical and may differ greatly from reality, but the mathematics turns out to be about such that simply due to the increased commission, the old version of the affiliate program loses to the new one.
