Not sure you're aware but there's a new bitcoin robot coming out in the next two weeks. As I understand it, there's no spreads, no brokers and tradable 24/7. It's not Forex! I'll probably pop for it when released and I'll let you know "Whazzz Zup!" Search "BTC Robot."

Have no idea. They're not releasing any info til Aug. 12th. However, they claim "multiple sources." What that means is a toss up. I won't think about it without further info. So, I wait. I don't want to be jaded before I know their scoop.
I hope it doesn't use AVA. They shut their signal off, ala Forex. Yet the BTC robot says it'll trade 24/7. What am I missing? I DL'ed AVA's mt4 and BTCUSD is at the bottom of Mkt Watch, after "Select All." Odd chart. Something new to learn.

OK, new video out. The BTC robot does NOT use the MT4. It's cloud-based. Nothing to install. That's all I could glean from the video. Avail tomorrow.
They offer a Windows Vista/7/8 version you can install but it doesn't work with XP. Therefore, if you're an XP diehard like me, you have to kick up to the Gold or Platinum versions. The BTC robot trades through 5 different brokers, with Mt. Gox being one of them.
I'm waiting for Anna to tell me how to upgrade. A VPS comes with the upgrade also. I'll stay on top of it and get a workable version going.
Their servers crashed as soon as they opened this morning and they're still down.
UPDATE: It DOES work on XP! At least, it installs. Clicking the desktop icon activates it but it hides in the lower tray until you call it up from there. So, Silver version, $149, works on XP. No need to upgrade.

As I understand, it trades through 5 different exchanges, not brokers? Because Mt.Gox is not a broker. Do I need to have accounts with all 5 exchanges?

They say 5 but I only see 3 exchanges to use, Mt Gox, BTC-e and BitStamp. So, $333/acct. That should be a good starting point. Just gotta figure out the "HOW." You've got to go through certain processors to fund different exchanges. It may be simple tomorrow but it's a rat's maze today.
Still haven't figured out how to fund this beast yet! Grrrrrrrrrrr! Here, see if YOU can figure it out and you can instruct me! Grrrrrr!

Heard from BTCrobot today. They said they've almost got the DDOS attack shielded, or whatever they do. We should expect a Welcome email within the next 48 hours.

Still waiting. Got an account verified thru OKPAY. I believe it's a funding source to the exchanges. Tomorrow, I'll specifically ask all three exchanges if it's ok to use.
Got my Platinum robot today. Seems it only trades through BTC-e Exchange. Getting account setup today. Will fund through GOPAY and turn it loose.

I'm almost ready to throw in the towel. I simply cannot figure out how to fund an exchange account. The robot people are no help. The exchange offers no help. The forums are quiet on the subject, even when asked. Every processor has a "different" way to do it, none of which is "simple."
