Any NZD Traders?

NZD has been catching my attention lately and I was wondering if someone knowledgeable of NZD cared to discuss what you've learned about it's personality.

i am thinking of adding a nzd case to my baskets and i am looking at the nzd group in ia combo as a guide. but i wonder, some pairs have nzd as the base and some have nzd as the quote. dos this mean a buy/sell basket? setting the eur and jpy baskets was simple as they are all listed as either base or quote

In BT2.3, you can designate which pairs trade opposite, of which you have 2 NZD pairs. It's all in the setup. However, in Basket8, change history from 1000 to 400. Otherwise, you'll get "Waiting for Update."

do we also need to adjust the pairs in basketv8 so it will be displayed properly in the offline chart?

edit: ia is showing 4/3 opposing pairs for nzd

No. Only in input section of BT2.3.

i am flustered with the history downloading now : /

i checked and compiled the pairs in the nzd cases in basketv8 and 2.3 over and over again, downloaded all of the pairs' 1h history over and over again, set max bars to 400 and still get waiting for update

maybe it's broker related

i talked to my broker and they said to download the 1 minute data and use a period converter script to get 1 hour. will report back

ok...

i put each of the nzd pairs one at a time into a 1 pair basket WITH max bars left at 1000 and there were no problems...

i then tried to place two opposing nzd pairs into one basket and get waiting for update

so it has to do with opposing pairs

edit: it can't be a problem with opposing pairs because many of the original baskets in basketv8 have opposing pairs (not sure if this is the correct wording)
