Best indicators to use with Price Action in scalping M5 for reversal

hello to all guys,

I’m trying to find the best indicator to use in scalping M5, together with my custom Price Action system, in order to improve system robusteness detecting a reversal.
Tried RSI and stochastic with period from 9 to 11 but if they are working for avoiding bad trades, they avoid also good trades and viceversa.
what is the best indicator and setting to use in conjunction with price action trade in this case? Thank you to all

This depends on what you are seeking in an indicator. If you need a trend reversal confirmation, I'd suggest any of the trend strength indicators. Like Average Directional Index, for example.

I use a strategy that foresees the trade when there is a pinbar reversal with other indicators for price action. but sometimes fails, so I would put another confirmation for reversal
so ADX with default settings in M5 ?

I personally don't use ADX, so I cannot recommend any specific settings, but you could backtest your strategy to check which settings work best.
