That depends on the specific platform. Some platform's aren't free (NinjaTrader, TradingView - there are free tiers though), some are free (cTrader).

Yes If you want to buy a Tradingview account, you have to pay for that, and well if you want my idea, do not buy it! (It doesnt worth that much) And just use mt4 since it is still the best one around!

It's interesting to hear your opinion about not buying a Tradingview account. I understand that it may not be worth the investment for you.
