Could these be manipulations?

Hi traders,
Yesterday night I put two trades on the IC Markets platform and ended up losing both, through very strange circumstances which I will explain below.

GBPJPY M30
I place a sell order at 22:09 (193.420) with a TP (193.211) 20PIPS. The price moved my way at 23:50 and went all the way down to (193.089) that's 6.5 PIPS below, but my TP was never triggered. Subsequently, price came back up and hit my SL and I made a loss of USD1406 on that particular trade. The question is why was my TP not triggered even after reaching 6.5 PIPS beyond?

AUDCHF M5
At 21:25 I put a sell order (0.60050) with TP set at (0.59985) 6.5 PIPS, and a SL at (0.60099). At 00.00 hr, my SL was hit although there was a gap down which have triggered my TP. It must be noted that there was no traces of price towards my SL. It was triggered in thin air. I loss USD556 on that trade.

Please see screenshot of both trades and I would be grateful if anyone could check and give me some advise as to what could have happened that I lost the two trades on IC Markets.

Thank you.

The answer to your question is spread, but I'm worried about this:

How can 193.211 - 193.089 equal 6.5 pips?
Hi Enivid, The price went pass my TP by 6.5PIPS. Unless the spread was more that 6.5PIPS then it would not activate the TP. For me that's the only explanation.

well, manipulation is really rare in forex, because we are talking about the currencies that countries are being run with. Crypto, I would say is still probable to be manipulated, but not forex pairs.
