Do you have enough patience?

I have met plenty of forex traders who seem to lack patience when they trade. They want to rush into a trade in order to make money, but without patience you are really not trading properly. You may enter or exit a trade pre-maturely which means you are leaving pips in the market rather than pocket them in your portfolio.

Patience is a very important attribute to master in order to better your trading results. This also applies if you already achieve good results as with a bit more patience you could increase your earnings from the same strategy you are already using.

Another good post again, but it very difficult to keep yourself in check when some certain things happen in the market.

Agreed, sometimes patience is the key, can still remember how the markets reacted to the greek debt crisis or rather, did not react right away - leading to some of the impatient traders closing their positions in the red..
After a while, the market started heading in the expected direction and it was business as usual. So yeah, patience is the key and there's no getting around that fact!

True enough. It may take some time to learn(10,000) hours. And afterwards as an experienced trader, you still have to wait for trade set ups.

Patience is an obligatory skill for any trader. I learned that a hard way, so I know exactly what I'm talking about.

If you have not enough patience then you wont become success. Sometime we may get loss but it is not forever. So we should be try to overcome it with patience. So i think it badly needed in our trading life.

In beginning i did not have much patience even now I feel I need more patience. Impatiece is a a big issue in loss. We mostly loose due to this habit we are hurry to do real trading and then in getting profits. I am making practice to gain this quality.It is giving me positive results.
