Hello everybody. It seems that ECN business model is a turning point in FX industry. All the major brokers either are ECNs, or are moving towards this model. Still, there are many fake ECNs on the market who simply utilize the sign “ECN” to cover their sneaky market making activities. It would be completely fair to say that ECN model has completely taken over the world of Forex trading. Almost every single broker want to be that, but unfortunately most just say it while in reality they are never a true ECN company, therefore I would advise to research fully to know if they are just promising or they can deliver as well.

I only trade with a true ECN company and that is OctaFX. When I started I never trusted them due to past experience with wrong brokers, but as time went on they proved everything and their quality was on the spot with all my trades getting executed instantly without ever requotes, it is a thing that only a true ECN company can provide as they connect us directly to global banks not do desk dealing.

I am trading Forex with Deltastock. This is why I think their Level2 module is true ECN - you do not experience slippage, instead, during important news releases or times of high volatility most of the liquidity providers will withdraw some of their offers , which will result in a wider spread. In case your order size is lower than the minimum requirement of the LP, you are filled at the next best offer that accepts your order size.
