Everything I buy becomes resistance

Hi.

Everything I buy becomes resistance and everything I sell becomes support. I mean, the price seems to be going in a given direction, I place an order following the trend, and the trend turns on a dime immediately. Then it comes back soon after, but it won't cross the price where I placed my order (or does so little it won't cover the spread). Then it keeps going back and forth around the new support or resistance it looks like I just created with my super powers. I could swear there is a little man inside the machine that watches all my moves and always twists the price in the opposite direction and cackles at my dismay.

There must be some very common (and very consistent) mistake I keep making to put myself in this trap over and over and over. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

It sounds like you're buying late into existing trends, just as the trend is losing steam.

Well, sometimes I wait a while before entering. Sometimes I enter quite soon. Either way, it always seems to lose steam as soon as I enter. :-(

Oh, then you can just switch your signals and buy when you want to sell, and sell when you feel like buying.
