As regards the Federal Reserve upcoming meeting, the Fed Chair, Janet Yellen has announced that the central bank could increase interest rates as early as September if the continuity if the improvement of the US economy is maintained. The US is expected to release figures on second quarter growth on Thursday as there is hope that it would indicate the recovery of the US economy from earlier contraction it experienced in the first quarter in face of unconventional harsh winter.
