Looking at the bigger picture helps me to keep the right mindset. Whenever there is a loss (or even a profit), it's easy to get carried away either by fear or by overconfidence. Then it's important to look at this as if it's just a small part of a longer way where short-term losses or profits don't play a huge role. I look back at my overall performance, consider my long-term goals, and make sure my trades, be they losing or winning, have been entered and managed using my trading rules. That's the way to keep the right trading mindset for me.
