Scalping - and orders denied

Hello all, I am new to Forex and new here as well. By all accounts I consider myself a scalper.
Something I noticed and a bit disturbing is that during fast movement [gold/USD] example - is that the server is too "busy" to execute my order [long or short]. And therefore my entry/exit strategy can go up in flames.
From my long time computer experience a packet sent should "fit" inside of milliseconds of excecution.
I have experienced this with different practice accounts.
Is this a normal experience? or is it confined to practice accounts.?

cheers

It's a normal experience. The problem is not because the connection or the servers are too slow, but because the "competition for a market liquidity" at the clearing centers is very high during the periods of fast movement.

When you trade with a bucketshop that's normal , it can rarely happen when your account is with a ECN broker.

Jona is correct, the better the broker the more liquidity they will have. Get with an ECN broker and they are 85% less likely to put you in these sort of situations.

Don't worry Foster- This generally happens when the market is busy: such as important data is published and a trading instruments catches many traders' attention.
However, if it happens to you even when the market is calm, there is legitimate reason to suspect something is wrong with your broker's quotes and systems.
Hope it doesn't happen again! Good Trading to you :)

I think it's because you're using a broker, this is not good for maximizing your profits, you should use the Brokers that traders experience appreciate as:

4runnerforex.com
hotforex.com

visit to check it out, good luck

When there is high volatility or low liquidity, you may experience the following:

1. Widen spread

2. Slippage

3. Requotes

This is normal. Also, in case you use scalping EA you may intentionally receive lower speed of execution from your broker. Because these EAs are sending too much messages to the servers of the broker, as far as I know…

Take care!

You might like to try looking for scripts to action the trade, Google "Sell with SL and TP without confirmation Box.mq4" [as the search string] and you will find the "set" of scripts for semi-automated trading. I have found they work more than sometimes when my broker is plaguing me with problems closing trades

with regards to practice and live accounts, I guess you could say that practice do execute a lot faster, but its different with live, given that any broker can receive a massive number of executions at the same time specially during breaking news, I also trade with hotforex, and I've heard that there will be more servers for a better execution (though they already have a good one). and I guess thats good news for you :)

Just opt for ECN brokers, they have more liquidity..better yet, test them out for a week or two,

ECN trading is for those traders who are having both high amounts of investments as well as high trading volumes where the spreads will make a big difference in the terms of the overall profits.

Not reallly!

A few ECN brokers are offering retail ECN accounts with low to medium trading volumes, for eg, Traders Way is one such broker. I'm sure you can google for the rest..But do the research before opting for a live account.

ECN trading offers the possibility of making good deals for those whose trading volume requirements are large and thus the difference in the terms of the spreads will matter more for them.

Think you misunderstood me, I meant that a few brokers are offering ECN accounts set to the micro and mini level [small account deposit] as opposed to what was on offer before. That's why I had asked you to google this lot to find out more.

In the Forex business what matter the most is that we should be dealing with a broker which allows transparent order execution and satisfied to the demands of the trader.

I agree with you guys, as ThanhVi410 mentioned you should use the Brokers that has the most experience in trading. Choose brokers that specialize with your trading style.

If your game is in scalping, do your own research for good scalping company.

Good Luck.
