Sneaky metaquotes

Hey guys, listen to this. A lot of people run botnets (EA)
Imagine your scalping, swing trading or whatever testing using multiple time frames. over weeks .
what if you was testing on gold and the Metaquotes demo platform is spiking the spreads in the dead of the night (Asian session) by 25 points (250 pip). what would your strategy look like in the morning? useless eh. exactly. dont be using metaquotes for demo trading EA . especially swing and the strategy tester is a joke IMO but mt5 itself is awesome and i love it.

Yeah, it's best to avoid end-of-the-week and start-of-the-week trading even when backtesting because the data can easily add bias to the entire strategy if used for optimization.

Why not to exclude those periods? Do you want to trade 24/7? Obviously sometimes trading conditions are not great for some strategies
