Spread Betting at DF Markets

I`ve visited DF Markets spread betting website and noticed that the EUR/USD spread is only 0.6 pips which is great. I intend to open a demo with them. Does anyone have any experience with DF Markets spread betting?

Just to update the thread. I have opened a live account with DF Markets on their spread betting platform, so far everything is running perfect. No issues at all

what is the difference spread betting with forex trading?
any significant difference? i mean if i wanna risk for example $100 / 100 GBP with forex trading, i can do so , with proper lot size setting in my tickmill ECN account.
spread betting company applied leverage well forex broker too. so what is the major difference between this two trading / betting instrument?

There are several differences:

• It is betting, not trading. Nothing is sold or bought when you spread bet.
• The mechanics of a bet is a bit different from the normal Forex trade. The win/loss size depends on the bet size and does not fluctuate depending on the current price compared to your account currency. E.g. if you bet in pounds and your account is in pounds but you bet on something like USD/CHF, your win/loss will not depend on GBP/CHF rate. In spot Forex it will.
  
• It has very attractive taxation rules in UK and Ireland.
• It is illegal in many other places.
