Testing an EA that relies on an indicator using the strategy tester

I have a mt5 EA that relies on an indicator's values displayed on chart windows. The EA performs calculations based on these values to execute trades. I don't have access to the indicator's mt5 file to add my own and convert it into an EA. I'm looking for a way to automate backtesting the EA (dependent on the Indie) using MT5 automated strategy tester. Is there a method to achieve this?

Performing manual backtesting and manually adjusting variables can be quite demanding.

Your EA should be loading the indicators via iCustom() and doing all the calculations automatically. This also works in the Strategy Tester.
