The "Fiscal Cliff"

It's being taunted all over communications. And, it's portrayed in a highly negative tone, as it should be. However, we're Forex traders and we look at things differently than Joe 6-Pak. In my opinion, "Fiscal Cliff = Opportunity."

What effect do you foresee in a "spill over the cliff?" How do you see Forex reacting? Old traders have been through some of this before. Give us your insight.

If you look at the EUR/USD D1 chart of July-August 2011, you can see that there was no big opportunity in "debt ceiling crisis". I, personally, do not think "fiscal cliff crisis" will be much different.

I listened to Christine Lagarde, Dir. of IMF, today. According to her, her analysts are saying that with no compromise, the markets should begin the tanking process on Jan. 2nd.

BTW, the "infraction" note was a FU on their part and has been cleared.
