Wow...this is a nice EA I think...but there are many trades on the M1 timeframe...will MT4 dealers allow these trades?...or are they market orders?

I have never seen an EA trading on the M1 that is consistently profitable...I would need to watch this one longer in a forward test to understand it.

I sent an email to get the mq4 file...I hope I can get it...

it is only for demo .
no one shall buy it .. no company , no back test , no Guarantee nothing but talk .

FxUnicorn has been very good for me since end of 2012 until end of January 2013. I've made about $ 7,5 k starting from $1,5k on real account (FxOpen).

But since february almost every trades are losers. Because it opens a sell trade when price rises and vice versa.

Is anybody of your experts here to take a look in the trading formulas of the EA and check, what the reason is for this hard changing? That would be very fine.

Can you show me your results!!!

Yes it sure opens a sell trade when price rises and vice versa...LOL dont put a EA on live until you know its strategy.

Its a counter trend strategy EA. When there is sudden spikes in prices for e.g it goes up it open a sell position. This sudden spike is bound to come back/down few pips...so it uses this strategy to capture few pips in those moments.

For this kind of trading you must use ECN brokers with less or no slippage.

I am testing which works on the same strategy but uses hedging also in case the price doesn't comes back after a sudden spike to minimize losses...LOL

Over a long time of weeks the FxUnicorn works fantastic. It automatically widen the lot sizes from 0.1 lot to 1.0 lot (which I had set as a limit), Thanks God therefore, because when FxU reached the 1 lot trades, first losses occur. But very very low losses

I am not a newbie. I have an real money ECN account, where FxUnicorn placed the trades.

If you give me your PM or email adress, than I will send you the MT4 statement, where you can find every trade FxUnicorn made.

I am very sad, that the FxU not achieved this wonderful results longer.

send me your FxUnicorn version, i will look into the code and modify it to suit your needs....anyway its a copy of old version of MDP which doesnt works in most brokers unless you find suitable sets and particular brokers....

But then, from one day to the other, first small losses occur. And then more and more. It amazed me, that the losses were so small, although the EA worked with 1 Lot. But I decided to stop the EA.

In the "good" times of the EA it made buy trades when the price went up (rises) and sell trades when the price dropped. Sometimes very often, when the price moved fast.

But now it is just the opposite: It opens sell trades when the price rise and buy trade when the price falls.

It would be very fine, if you are able to solve this problem and the EA begins to make good money.

Ok the fxunicorn backtest is usually the same which i expected with other MDP versions. The losses are because your brokers slippages, and also the market was somewhat different recently with spike formations.

Anyway you can try this strategy with reverse trade logic with this EA
