What is Rebate

As the title, can somebody introduce for me, more detail will be better

A rebate is a kind of cashback that you get from a Forex broker for trading. Basically, a broker that pays rebates just returns part of the spread you paid when trading in a form of rebate. To me, Forex rebates look like a marketing trick that isn't worth the hassle. If broker wants to encourage its traders - it is always simpler, cheaper, and more transparent just to tighten its spreads.

Enivid, I totally agree with you. When a trader is on a market, he needs reliable broker to support execution of his strategy. That includes also low spreads. Rebate sounds like extra side cash, but I dont see its point, if brokers spreads are fair.
