Will you guys engage into some year-end portfolio squaring and maybe take some losses which you wanted to get rid off or do you ignore all the fuzz about some window dressing (which fund managers do for several reasons, not saying it is good or bad)?
As far as am I concerned I may part ways with a few losses, but not because the year ends but because the volatility which often accompanies the year-end trading sessions (I am thinking next week Monday and Tuesday) may create some good exit opportunities.
Since I trade for myself I have no performance targets to meet and nothing changes for me from Tuesday (last trading day of 2013) to Thursday (first trading day of 2014).
