Yes, 95% of the traders fail as they do not know how to follow a trend. They enter the market at the wrong moments. They get hastled due to rebounds and leave the trades at the wrong moments. There are several reasons but following the trend is the right option. Thank you!

There is no right way. Trend trading relies on market timing , market timing does not work , so trend trading does not work.

need a trend following formula, those who teach do not know it

Is it worth it for 2.7% a year on $10,000?Waste of time.

The Eurekahedge Trend Following Index fell by 7.1 percent in 2018, its worst performance on record and a far cry from the years of double-digit returns seen prior to the global financial crisis. It is up just 2.9 percent this year, lagging the 6.6 percent rise in the broader HFRX Equity Hedge Index.

Trend trading is longer term trading. If trend is correctly and timely spotted, then there is no chance that trader can make a loss. It might be that he closes position prematurely and lose some of potential earnings

No doubt, following the market trend is the best strategy! But, we need to make sure chart reading skill to understand the relation between trends and counter trends attack.

It is all relative to traders skills. If you have chosen to trade on trend, than you should spend your time in learning it very well including test of indicators and any other additional skill required. Only this way you will be able to perfect your strategy in order to make continuous profits
