I absolutely agree with you, because I had got in a trap once, with this computer robots. Do you have experience of creating analytics? where did you get information about it?
Well as a newbie on Forex I use analytic from others traders or honest broker. Well I prefer to use ichimoku and moving average indicators with accentforex.

I think that we can just take helps from a robots. But obviously we should not properly believe in a robots. If anyone fully depends on it, he will be a great looser at the end. But, sometimes robots helps really..

Yes,I do believe in Forex robot.Have been using it for last 2 years and so far it has been very good for me.TFOT robot is the one which I have been using since september 2010 and till date it has proven its worth.

I dont think that someone who developed an EA which is very successful
sell it. Why should he/she?

But let me tell you that I saw via teamviewer an EA which was managing 100k and 10k accounts! Very successful! Earning monthly about 100%...Ea was not for selling. He just connect his ea to your account

One: No one would want to sell the "holy grail" chalk it up to "human nature"
Two: You cannot learn anything much from an EA, you need to trade manually in order to learn how to trade effectively..
Three: Yes, a few EAs do work but they usually come with a hefty price tag and the cost to profit ratio is not as big as we would like it to be..
You can use an ea to supplement your trading needs, but to depend ONLY on EA is not advisable..good luck!

yes for newbie can learn from robot i think

There is nothing you can learn from a robot. You need to learn how to trade the good old fashioned way.

FOrex robot are working people are doing experiements on different robots. I eard some paying robots are doing really good but for specific time period as 2 or 3 months. It is on test of their credibility I will use robot first on demo account.

Using automated scripts to generate signals that you can open and close positions in is one thing but to allow a robot to do the trades, not a good call. Remember, you are depending on someone's code to trade for you..

And yet, we keep getting the same threads claiming the benefits of using an EA..
An EA on it's own is not a bad thing, if you can develop one, you should be able to sell it for a good amount of $$$.
But when it comes to purchasing one, do take care to read the reviews and remember, all the back tests featured on the sales page are not the real thing..
Stay informed and understand the risks of using an EA before purchasing one.

I think a robot thats been coded / made by you (once profitable) in which you have the control of it, is viable and profitable.

As ultimately you're just automating what you would normally be doing for yourself.

As long as what you're doing yourself is profitable I don't see why a robot doing it wouldn't be.

As for the 1,000's available commercially, I think 99.99999% are crap. Perhaps not so much because they lose money, but more because they're not made by you. So you'll never trust them long term.

No one is giving their opinion.

Let's shoot out your ideas/thoughts freely here..

Will very much appreciate that. Hopefully our thoughts here also benefit Beginners here.

You asked the question in the thread and you answered it. However, this is an interesting point. Whether you believe in robot or not, what matters is the trading idea that can guarantee that you last long indefinitely in your career.

forex robots cannot be kidnapped?? Okay, think I have heard it all..
You mean that they cannot be hacked, correct? Sorry, but an EA is just a piece of program and it is susceptible to malware, just as any other program on your system..
