I am interested in trading on the EUR/USD 1H chart. Is it possible to trade Forex on a real market / NOT on CFD? Real market where the client has other clients as counterparties, a real market. And NOT the broker's CFD, to avoid conflicts of interest against the client. Platforms? Broker?
In CFD, "market maker", the broker makes money on the client's losing trades. This is a conflict of interest to the detriment of the client. There are cases when:
- The broker removes stop loss orders from positions opened on his own;
- Also on open positions, after a while, the broker on his own, reduces the stop loss inserted by the client. Actions of the broker to close open positions at a loss for the client, which brings profit to the broker.
- Manipulation of the high % movement on the asset's candles on the chart, where the large mass of stop loss is located, to trigger the clients' stop loss, causing losses when closing such an open position.
Is cTrader on the real Forex market (NOT CFD)? And the famous MetaTrader? Has anyone tried them? Drawbacks or disadvantages in the experience of using them? Where are the real FX futures (NOT CFD) for retailers? Thank you. (Spain)

Ugh, no. That's not how market making works.

If you don't want to trade with a market maker, you can open an account with an ECN broker.

cTrader and MetaTrader are neither markets nor brokers, they are trading platforms - software.

In the search engine, the best regulated ECN brokers of 2025 (in Spanish), a list comes up and the 1st is just the broker I am using for FX. I didn't know I was an ECN broker. The platform is very intuitive, easy, and clear. The team strives to make their instruments easier to understand and attends to their operation to deliver an exceptional customer experience. I've tried all the demos from many brokers, and the one I use beats them by a lot. Impressive.

Out of curiosity, I don't know if you can recommend an ECN broker for FX for Spain. Maybe it's the one I use today.

For real Forex trading (not CFD), look for ECN brokers. They provide direct market access, where your trades are matched with other participants, not the broker. cTrader is an excellent choice for ECN trading, offering transparent pricing and no broker intervention. MetaTrader can be used with both ECN and market maker brokers, so choose carefully.

If you're interested in FX futures, platforms like Interactive Brokers give access to the real futures market, though it often requires higher capital.

Always choose well-regulated brokers to avoid manipulation. Let me know if you'd like more specific broker recommendations!

Can you cite one/more regulated brokers that offer real FX / NO CFDs for retailers in Spain? Thank you. I currently use XTB broker's easy-to-use xStation platform for FX.
