Well you can be on the safe side with low lots, Hotforex micro platform is good enough to fill them practically without slippage (talking about 0.03-0.08 lots)
Even at news time? Does Hotforex allow to trade on news? In my experince some brokers don't.

during high volatility or news release, yes the spreads do widen a bit, but manageable in my experience. though im not much of a scalper really

What about email inquiries? What is handling time?

It's in 24 hours, I normally send inquiries in the afternoon and I get the answers same time on the next day. Most professional companies as Paypal, Blizzard always set 24 hours for responding inquiries.

Many of them impose various restrictions, like order lifetime (1-5 minutes minimum), volume caps, a cut from profits (for example 10%). Hotforex has no I guess because traded news several times and didn't notice anything strange.

I wonder is there slippage on Fixed spread account if a trade placed during news? Or fixed spread only?

I have not tried it but it's fixed spread, so if the spread changed it is not Fixed anymore and you can contact CS for that issue.

A bit unclear what you'd wanted to say but guess I'll need to learn this from my own experience as there is no members who has tried Fixed spread account. I just think that 1.8 fix spread on EUR/USD (what they claim to be in their platform) is pretty good for news, now I have spread widened to 2 pips during news and want to somehow reduce my trading costs. This seemingly flexible platform needs to be tested, so I'll let you know guys as soon as I finish my work here and spend some time on it :)

on a personal note and in general, like why trade some one else when there is nothing to complaint about, hopefully this broker will continue to do better.. btw any insights on gold this week, with prices down to 1235, im kinda in a tightspot, market is back to sideways.

I find really hard to trade gold. Sometimes it drops when US dollar strengthens sometimes they both rise or both fall. I guess it depends on risk sentiments, as gold is safe heaven, current volatility could make gold as an asset where big money ride out storms...
Btw which account do you use with hotforex?

but on a positive note, though gold does have some big moves and on the other hand have no moves at all, but its pacing is a lot slower than majors which makes it easier to trade/swing, i dont scalp much. so its more of my cup of tea.

I see besides MT4, hotforex also provide another platform: MYFX, it requires 2k$ deposit to access free. What are its features compared with MT4 with those who tried or have experiences with it?
