Would it help with the development of 1.27 any if you briefly summarised these bugs, so then readers of this thread could each report it through the service desk which then might encourage Metaquotes to speed up, or to allocate more resources to fixing said bugs?

The bug is already fixed according to MetaQuotes' Service Desk. It is just that they are waiting to implement some important changes before releasing a new build of MT4 platform.

In the essence of the bug is an incorrect event handling when several graphical objects are overlaying.

Ah I see, that could explain why we have been on build 950 for so long...and I'm still waiting for the option to show the ASK price line on MT4 Android...

Hi
I downloaded your Position Size Indicator, I like it, Thanks.
How do I save changes to the parameters, and make my selections the default?
Each time I load it to a chart, I have to go through all the changes again.
thx
Jim

Does the newly released MT4 build 970 include the necessary changes to allow the development of the new PSC 1.27 and onwards to continue as normal?

Would it be possible to add the ability to colour the 'StopLoss' and the 'StopLossLabel' objects different colours for each object?

At the moment it seems both of these two objects have to be the same colour as just one colour setting (sl_font_colour) applies to both objects.

It would be awesome to be able to have the 'StopLossLabel' always showing and colouring it black (or another visible colour), but at the same time have the 'StopLoss' object hidden and coloured white (or a colour which matches the charts background).

Thank you.

I assume this request could also extend to the take profit objects but they are not used as part of my trading approach.

I will definitely try to implement it in the next update.

On the side note, the Panel version of PSC will have an small button to hide/show lines along with labels. Do you have any ideas on how to be implement it considering you want labels shown when lines are hidden?

Hmm all I know from an end-user stand point is that some of the standard text labels that simply repeat already knowable information such as the 'Stoploss' object that just repeats and confirms the price at which my actual horizontal line object has been placed at.

Therefore this and similar objects I find for me personally are better off hidden, whereas objects that are a result of constant real-time calculations such as margin, position size, stop-loss to entry distance and entry to take profit distance are much more in need of being constantly visible, hence the request to give them their own colour settings.

As far as the new PSC panel goes...split the labels and lines up into two show/hide settings?

I imagine it would be far easier to implement in the current PSC version.

As somebody who is cautious of change just for changes sake, what are the main benefits of the new PSC panel over the current version?

I know the current PSC has ended up with lots of different input parameters and requires a little time to set up but at the same time it has made the indicator highly customisable and capable of catering to a wide variety of configurations and set-ups, and in the end it does what it has set out to do and works fantastically well.

For example, I would say that the above requested change would be much easier to do in the current version than in the new one.

The above change will probably be implemented before the Panel release. The main advantage of the panel will be its simplicity and usability. Most things that now require changing the input parameters or even indicator reloading will be done in a click or two. It will also be more compact.

PS: You do not have to worry - the current version will still be there when the new one is released.

Hehe, yes I do trust you completely and I have built up my own off-line archive of PSC releases as I regard it so highly as an integral part of my trading system.

I think THE most desired element of the new PSC panel for me would be the user defined leverage margin calculation (Both percentage and ratio inputs). I'm always on the lookout for better brokers, and during my research I've noticed that not only do some brokers scale the maximum amount of leverage available based upon a single market/symbol position size, they also scale the maximum available leverage based upon the amount of total capital/equity that the client has in their broker account.

But I digress, making that last separation colour change to the current 1.26 version would be fantastic.

And also, why not name the new radically changed panel based PSC as 'v2.0'? A naming convention that properly signifies a great leap forward?

And as somebody use utilises a pre-determied financial risk amount for each and every single trade I place, the higher the leverage amount simply means cheaper trading costs and less of my own capital I have to put up to enter and retain a position. Scaling of the position size is crucial to this approach. Hence the significance I place upon the PSC indicator and script.

Hello, me again.

Without sounding like a broken record and droning on and on I'd just like to share a screen shot of my current chart configuration that better explains my situation.

The PSC and Spread text has been shoved well into the top right corner to avoid me constantly hovering over or selecting the objects by accident and they've been coloured white to hide them. Then if needed I already have a type of show/hide text function as I right-click on the chart and bring up the object list. This list basically displays all of the text I have hidden and I simply refresh the list by repeatedly clicking the 'List all' button. Or I could create a show and a hide template.

But as you can see, the fact that the last bit of text where the colour is linked to its label can't be hidden has left things quite unsightly and at times can be a distraction.

That could be possible, but I only ever have a white background with a black foreground, I find it makes ALL the price action stand out much better.

When I do set a PSC colour to none, the input parameter value field then gets populated with '255.255.255' and my screen then looks like this?
