Position Sizer

Hi, Can any one help me with the position sizer 3.02 ? I have two accounts with IG one live and one demo and I use this on both. It works perfectly on the demo but on the live account it takes random trades and some much higher than i programed in which leads me not to trust it I do love this tool and i would love to use it on a live account

The problem is when I take trades the incorrect size of the trade is showing so if I take a trade risk of % 0.20 of the account then 0.10 shows, % 0.50 then 0.10 shows etc, etc and sometimes it takes a trade much higher than I requested. Could you please provide some example screenshots? It is difficult to understand what's going on.

These are trades with the IG demo account with mixed % trades taken and the postion size changing but with the live account the position size stays the same or has any number at random which is not good when taking live trades. I've tried re-installing but with no luck. Thanks

I'd need to see the screenshots of the live account situation to be sure, but my best guess is that the account balance there is such that when you change your risk percentage, the position size doesn't change because it is already at the minimum possible.

Well I don't want to risk taking trades on my live account so the screenshots are without the terminal view. I think in the future I will check the position size box because on testing low % trades entered this was showing 6.8 in the position size box. It's a shame because it works perfectly on the demo account. Thank You

Sorry, but what exactly do you believe is wrong on these screenshots?

PS: You might want to consider updating your PS EA to version 3.03.

Mate. It seems you would like to turn left while you drive and you believe the others will understand without you turn on the indicator. Nobody can understand your issue. You are just posting the screenshot without clear explanation mate.

It is completely not clear. How much risk you took how much it shows?. Make a explain step by step please.

Do you think we could add more hot keys. One for quickly getting the stop loss, and take profit. So like you press S and the stop loss goes immediately to where your cursor is on the chart. You press P and the take profit goes to where your cursor is on the chart. Also a hot key for adjustable risk. Like you press 0 for a 0.5% risk, 1 for a 1% risk, and 2 for a 2% risk and it automatically executes the trade similar to the T hotkey but it's adjustable risk.

Updated to 3.03 and everything's now working fine. Not sure why the previous version was not working I thought at first it might be a IG brokers issue but I've used this indicator\ea for years now without any problems and it's been so helpful with my risk management. Many Thanks.

May be your MT5 missing some libraries. Please install a new MT5 version and try to compile.

As @EnrichWave has said, it looks like some standard MQL5 libraries are missing, but it would help to see the first error - at the top of the error output - to be sure.

EURUSD auto appear when I trade EURJPY and use Position Sizer. I can not remove EURUSD from my watch list. It can not run in EURJPY at the first, alert appear and need to restart to use. Same situation for GBPJPY and GBPUSD

It isn't normal that the alert appears before it adds the EURUSD to the Market Watch and you have to reload the EA. I will fix this in the next version. However, it is normal for the EURUSD to be added to the Market Watch, because the Position Sizer needs it to convert the margin currency.

Hi, i have an issue where i will open my mt5 and try to take a trade but the ea will refuse to take the trade not until i close it and open it from the EA tab again not sure what could be the problem.
