Has anyone experienced significant gains with a particular EA during unpredictable market conditions? I'm curious about strategies that perform well in volatile environments, especially over extended periods like 2025-2026. Any insights or recommendations?

Most EAs I’ve tried tend to break down after 6 to 9 months, and I'm unsure why this happens—perhaps it’s related to the backtesting periods. The performance decay seems to occur inexplicably, and it doesn’t appear to be significantly influenced by changes in volatility.

My advice for you is not to rely too much on ea trading. The best one is the one you develop yourself.

If we have any profitable strategy we can get it coded in mql to move our trading level one step further to automation but there are some other requirements like VPS etc for running any EA. We also have to monitor those EAs during the market volatility.

Volatile market conditions like what we might see in 2025-2026 can definitely throw you off, but there are definitely EAs (Expert Advisors) that can handle those ups and downs—if they’ve been properly backtested and designed for that kind of unpredictability.
For me, though, I’m always careful about putting too much trust in any EA without testing it myself first. Backtesting is super important! So, if you’re looking for one, take the time to really test it in different market conditions. The key is to pick one that’s got solid risk management built in—like using trailing stops, taking partial profits, or even reducing lot sizes when things get wild.
