However, you could use separate platform instances connected to the same account to enable or disable autotrading separately for currency pairs or groups of currency pairs.
Thank you @Enivid. I was considering that and my VPS resources can’t seem to handle too many MT5 instances.

I actually asked you because there is such feature using Magic Number filter in your Account Protector EA. Though upon reexamining, I realize it doesn’t prevent trades from being place, it instead closes trades or deletes pending orders.

On that note, can I kindly ask for that feature, where the Scheduler on determined timings would delete any Pending Orders filtered by Magic Numbers. Is that possible?

This feature won’t be able to prevent Market Order, yet any kind of Pending Order (Stop, Limit, Stop-Limit) that is placed during restricted timing will be immediately deleted by the Scheduler. This is great already.

Thank you for even considering this.

That's not something I would add to the Scheduler. I think it's more suitable for the Account Protector. It also has a timer event for that.

Yes, it would be great if you are considering adding this to Account Protector.

Also be please kindly consider adding that long term schedule file for account protector timer event so that this delete pending order can be scheduled in advanced in the Account Protector event timer feature.

Thank you @Enivid.

Actually, I realized you already have the Close Pending Order feature there in Account Protector, what’s missing is just the extensive scheduling system :)

Thank you.

Hi Enivid,
yesterday I added the EA to 4 MT4 Demo accounts without hassle.
When I tried to add it to another one at first it looked like everything works fine.
I double clicked to attach it to the chart and the settings window opened.
However, after I clicked the OK button, the settings window closes without the EA being attached the chart.
Is this EA somehow connected to an external server and my VPN Server IP has been blocked?
I tried it on multiple MT4 accounts but it won't let me attach the EA to a chart.
Would appreciate your help!

i am running 20+ Plexy Trade MT5 Terminals. Setup is identical: The same Breakout Scalping E.A is being Tested on all of them. The Auto-Trading Scheduler works very well on most of them. For some reason it doesn't work properly on 2 Terminals. (last week and this week) Algo Trading is paused and resumed according the Schedule, but the Trades are never closed and Pending-Orders never cancelled. Exact same Set-File is used. Please advise what i could do and check....

Check whether the respective checkbox is actually ticked on the panels. Also, check the output in the Experts/Journal tab - perhaps there was some problem closing the trades (or they were re-opened).

Things are Ticked as they should be - similar on all Terminals. The Logs look much the same except those 2 Terminals have these Messages in the Experts-Tab: "Trying to delete ini file. File doesn't exist." i wonder if it is relevant?

No, that line isn't relevant. Does it say anything about the attempts to close positions/orders? That should be found in the Journal tab as far as I remember.

One reason I can think of is the Slippage setting. Perhaps, the default 2 points is too low for the trades you are trying to close there? Especially if you are trading something exotic or some CFDs...

Pending-Order #11710518 was not closed.

This was similar on the 4 Terminals running on my Laptop.

EVERYTHING was closed on the 19 Terminals running on the V.P.S

Same Broker, same Account Types using the exact same Set-File for the Auto-Trading Scheduler.

Why are the Points only a problem on some Accounts?

What should the ideal Points be for XAUUSD?

It looks like it was created by some other EA after the Scheduler has already started closing. That could be the problem.

Slippage shouldn't be a problem for pending orders.

The 'other E.A' that you mention is the one placing the Pending-Orders and Executing the Trades on ALL 31 Terminals. For some reason the Auto-Scheduler is not able to close everything - but ONLY on 2-4 Terminals running on my Laptop.

Hi,

Is it possible to get an autotrading scheduler with an adx filter ?

For example it will toggle on only when the time conditions are fulfilled and adx stays above 25. I would be willing to pay for this feature to be added as well.

Thanks!

No, sorry. This isn't something we would add here. It's best to add such a modification to the original EA that you are trying to restrict with the ATS.

Thank you for this great EA. What is the use of the slippage value? Will orders only be closed if slippage is 2 or lower?

What does it say in the Experts tab log when you try to attach it? Also, do you have Allow DLL imports checked on the Common tab when you are attaching it there?
Sure, see screenshot
