A very powerful account protector and a usefull, no doubt about it. Thank you for you product
It would be very useful to add an option to lock all open positions of the instrument upon the occurrence of conditions. For example, when reaching the maximum equity drawdown.

What does it mean "to lock all open positions"?

It's very easy.
For example, after tradind we have a mixed grid 0.5 lots of Sell/0.9 lots of Buy and equity DD% reached -25% or 35%.
My idea is that the adviser in this case does not close all positions, but simply opens a new position 0.4 lots of Sell with Magik Number 999 or others.
The grid in this case becomes completely locked 0.9/0.9 and then the trader decides for himself what to do with it and how to get out of the lock. In this case trader can use some unlocker EA for resolve the situation.
Here is such a simple idea. And each trader himself chooses what to do for the adviser - lock the grid or close all positions. Just add a function to the Actions - locking all positions.

I see. However, I don't think it's a good idea to let the Account Protector open orders.

I don't think so. Many other account protectors has a choise actions after reach max DD:
keep orders
close pendings
Close All
Lock
One of this guy is account protector Argo Guardian 3.2.2
Any way it 's up to you.

Hello, The account protectors is a great tool for risk management. Thank you a bunch for making this free. I was wondering was there a way to put a timer on the enable trading once the max loss set was breached. As a manual trader would do maybe walk of the screen for a few hours and come back after some time. It would be nice if the EA had an option to restart auto trading after desired time period.

There is no automatic way to start a timer with new actions after some conditions have been reached. It can only be done manually by setting up the normal max loss condition with disable autotrading action and then changing this to a timer for enabling autotrading once the first condition is fulfilled.

How would you go about that? Could that be implemented on the next release? A timer to restart auto trading once it has been disabled?

Account Protector results are awesome . I Agreed with @Alexkf there should be open order condition after calculating total volume . for example i have 5 position with 0.5 each the total volume of all orders is 2.5 and postion should be locked / hedge if floating or equity goes under given condition in currency -800$ all position should be locked .

I want the EA to close the biggest losing (oldest) trade first when a set Daily Drawdown (active + closed)% is reached.

But do NOT want the EA to close all trades, only that one, then monitor DD% and when it needs to close the next biggest loser when the DD% gets to the set %, then follow that logic.

Is this possible?

No, it's not possible. However, I wonder why would you need this and when that "needs to close the next biggest loser" time will come in your opinion? If you close the first losing trade, your DD% doesn't change, it will still be below the conditional value and would require further closing.

Hi, I want to achieve the following:
When floating equity falls 4%, close all losing trades.
How do I achieve this?

I had 'Equity <= % of snapshot xxx' set on 4.00, but it didn't work.

Been using Account protector for a week and overall am very happy.
I was using it to notify me if my trading account falls 4%, by using Daily profit/loss <=% of balance -4% or if my trading account reaches the balance of $11,100 by sending me a push notification.

Now I just opened a new demo account and want account protector to notify me if the daily profit is 3% or more of the account balance in addition to the 2 conditions above.
I tried using Daily profit/loss >=% of balance and entering 3%, (see 1.png)
As soon as I enable account protector it sends me push notification that "Daily profit/loss greater or equal to 3.00% of balance" and removes my entry of Daily profit/loss >=% of balance 3%.
What exactly should I do so that account protector notifies me when my daily trading account balance falls by 4% and when my daily trading account balance increases by 3% ?
Thanks in advance

My guess is that it considers the demo account's new balance of $10,000 as the daily profit. Did you open it today? Try to test it tomorrow.
