Thank you, I will try this out.You can set the TP multiplier via the input parameters. By default it's 1, so a 1:1 RRR. If you change it to 2 and click the TP button, it will be set to RRR = 2.

What happens when you try to modify them? Does it always fail? Or does it sometimes work?Hi
I have been using Position Sizer in MT4 without any problems.
I changed my account to MT5 and I can't enter data manually in the Position Sizer, that is, I can't modify SL, TP, or risk. It works but only if I use the TP and SL lines to set it, but I can't modify risk or other parameters
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot
Thanks for your reply. What happens when you try to modify them? Does it always fail? Or does it sometimes work?
Those boxes should be white. I still don't quite get what does it mean when you say that 'it does not allow me to modify it". You click on it and what happens if you start entering some value? Could you please record a video of what's happening? Thanks for your reply.
The boxes that can be modified are white. It simply does not allow any data to be entered.
If, for example, I set an initial risk of 1.5% in the Position Sizer configuration, it does not allow me to modify it in the panel.
If I place a SL line (S), the value is modified in the panel, but if I try to enter a number, it does not allow me to do so.
And so on in all the editable boxes in the panel.
I'm not sure if I'll be changing the button's location. You can avoid accidental trade execution by ticking the 'Ask for confirmation' checkbox.Hello, this is a fabulous EA, extremely functional. I really appreciate it. Thank you so much to the developers. . . . If I could humbly suggest, . . . a way to reset the lines to show on the current chart view. (I sometimes find myself searching for the sl line in hurry). . . . And lastly, if the position of the “Trade” button could be repositioned and maybe a different color, that would be perfect . . (I sometimes unintentionally click “Trade” when trying to click “Main”. Thank you for your consideration.
You can use pre-entered parameters for the script. It's explained here:I greatly appreciate the Position Sizer programmer for this fabulous tool that has become my great trading ally. I know perfectly well that being a free tool, it is not in a position to demand anything, but I think that several of those who comment here agree that it would be extraordinary if they could add the function of closing all positions with a hotkey (whether they are winning , losers and pending) in the same way that you can execute a trade with the T key. And also another hotkey to protect a trade in break even, I know perfectly well that a script is published (I have it installed on my mt5) to close positions, however, to make it work I have to press a combination of letters (ctrl+z) to invoke the script, and then press the TAB key 3 consecutive times to select OK and finally ENTER. Believe me, for someone who scalps in the American session on the NASDAQ, the process I just described takes an eternity to close an order since when the script is invoked, the screen appears floating and that removes the visibility of the graphics. I know I've already had a bad trip with this, but it's just a small suggestion and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has asked for it and would like to see these changes integrated in the future. Greetings and thank you for this wonderful tool.
No, sorry. The chart with the Position Sizer has to be active for its hotkeys to work.Is there anyway to have the hotkeys work globally without the window being in focus?
I think he is asking for even the Metatrader window lost focus. No, sorry. The chart with the Position Sizer has to be active for its hotkeys to work.
If you are asking for you need to work the hotkeys even you are in other windows programs. It's not possible. Is there anyway to have the hotkeys work globally without the window being in focus?

No, sorry. That would probably be possible with some external software that would "route" the key presses to the specific MetaTrader 5 chart, but I don't know any such program.I wanted to use this setup with a macro keyboard. I have two charts open one for long and one for short with different shortcuts (SHIFT+T ,SHIFT+B)View attachment 29948
I have to click on each chart before I can open the trade. MT5 focus would be Good. But Global focus would be better.
I there a limitation on MT5. Why is it not possible?
I have actually used Global Focus Hotkeys on Ctrader. (Also had the ability to use F13 and F15 as the shortcut)
Is it possible to pay someone to add this feature?
The trailing stop works regardless of profit in the Position Sizer. Please use a separate trailing EA if you want it to be conditional on profit. For example this one: https://www.earnforex.com/metatrader-expert-advisors/Trailing-Stop-on-Profit/How do I turn off the trailing stop from trailing early, I want the trailing to start when it break even is hit so I put the same point amount to achieve that but some reason my trailing stop activate as soon as I am in a bit of profit
This happens sometimes. For example, some brokers don't return any value at all for required margin to MQL5 programs.Enivid it shows "Greater than maximum position size by margin" (Shows red color number on Position size text field). But placing orders works fine.
