I do not have Ger30 in ActivTrades - only a forward CFD of Ger30Mar17. The Position Size output is 1.00 there and it looks correct as one full point equals 25 EUR there.

Hi!

Where did you see the position size with 1.00?
In your image, the position size is 25.00

Why? If you look at the symbol's specification, FxPro's contract size is 1, while ActivTrades' is 25. Different brokers offer different trading conditions on seemingly the same instruments.

Hummm I dont know how Can I see this information!
Can you help me to see this information? Where I can see this?

Hi

And thanks for the good indicator. It have been very helpful!

I think that I found a bug on the program / indicator: I have been using this indicator on Oanda and Ava Metatrader 4 (Mt 4 build 1031 and 1045) and it have been working well. Now I opened account on FXPig and the indicator does not work anymore. The indicator opens normally and it looks normally, but it is unusable. If I try to drag that (Position Size Calculator ver 2.04) "window" it only scrolls the bar chart / candlesticks. Also none of the buttons does not work. If I press (clic) a button on the indicator window the button "stays pressed" (=button color stays darker). Please see attached picture.

I tried to copy different configs (from MT4 install folder and also from Mt4 data folder (Oanda -> FXPig)) and I also tried to copy that terminal.exe from Oanda Mt4 to FXpig Mt4 but nothing makes difference.

Because FXPig MT4 is not available public, I can give the direct download link via PM if you need..?

Or is there something that I can try myself?

I sent PM.

FXPig MT4 is build 1045 (and so is Oanda that is confirmed working).

Terminal Journal says: "Custom indicator PositionSizeCalculator EURUSD.spa,H1: loaded successfully"

Now I made more testing with a fresh FXPig MT4 installation.

1) Didn't add any accounts: indicator does work normally.
2) Added Demo account: indicator does work normally.
3) Added Live account: indicator stopped working!

After that I removed MT4 installation again and installed it again. Indicator still stops working after I logged to Live account.

Very mystic..

Does it say that when you attach it in the live account? Are there any other messages? Especially, when you try to close the panel?

Yes it says that in the live account. Not any other messages during opening of indicator. When I try to remove that indicator I do find it on "Chart -> Indicators" (CTRL+I). And I can remove it from the indicators-list, but even when I remove it from list, the indicator is still showed on main window. Only way to remove it from main window is to close the chart and open it again.

Please replace your PositionSizeCalculator.mqh with the attached file and then recompile the indicator. Then try attaching it again. Please let me know whether it helped. Thanks!

One feature that would be nice is to have a line showing where price would have to go to break even on the current position size set up you have including commission.
The option to show more lines of where price would have to go for 2x the risk or 3x could be nice too.

The pending/ instant button is super useful to get the entry price line onto the screen so that you can then move it with the mouse.
I use it every time I switch markets and it would be very nice if the stop loss line would act similarly so that it moved to lets say the current ask price.
That way you could set up the trade without using the keyboard at all super fast and easy.

Just some ideas/suggestions for future developments, thanks for your effort into this "indicator"!
