Hello,
I can't find anywhere an answer to why I can't see the Break Even lines. I have the color set. It does not appear with the other lines. It does not appear when the pending order is placed. Is is supposed to appear once the position is opened?

Thanks,
Dean
It's shown only for active trades (open positions) and only when some non-zero value is given in the Breakeven field on the Trading tab.

...And the EA has to stay running continuously from the time the pending order is placed through position opening through BE trigger, correct? If at any point the EA is removed (or disabled? )the BE ability is permanently lost, right?

No, it's a little different. The EA should be on to move the trades to BE, but you can restart it until that time. It will recognize the trade using the given Magic number.

morning everyone , wondered if there might be anyone who could possibly help me with a small issue i have at the moment. I use the PS to market execute and it works great my only issue is I have pre defined partial and one remaining full tp. When market executing with the ps , the partial line moves in line with the price changes where as the other tp stays static. Is there anyway possible both lines could move as the price line moves ? the issue is because I am market exeucting all the calculations are skewed as prices moves and the orders are placed.

any help would be much appreciated

thanks

I'm not sure I understood you correctly, but I think if you set the TPDistanceInPoints parameter to true and then set point values both for the main TP and for the additional TP, both will be following the entry line.

hi enivid , apologies about the poor explanation.

Basically as I trade I trade a fixed risk to reward of 1to5 so I risk 0.5% and target 2.5% profit. When executing I use market executions of which the first partial at 2.5r. So the first take profit line follows the entry and stop lines my problem is my second take profit which is the majority of the position does not track the entry / stop lines. Is there a way i can make the secon take profit line lock to the entry / stops ?

No, there is no automatic way to do that.

hello,

i have an issu with Position sizer ea whith my Mac.

when the position sizer is in "instant" mode, meaning i enter at market price, the blue line (by default) symbolizing the current market price, is different than the actual market price (white line) on the chart on MT5. Does anyone have already experience this issue with position sizer ? Thanks for your help guys, have a nice week !

Don't check with the the chart. check with Market watch window.

Because brokers make some spreads + their plugins to manipulate the price.

By the way. what's your broker?.

Hello, thanks for answering , i am a beginner here (with MT5) could you elaborate what you mean ? The Market Watch Window is the list of every asset is that correct ? then, i click to show the chart of one of the instrument i want to trade on, and the chart appears. So i not quite sure what you mean :s

Lot of Thanks for your time Enrich, but how this is helpful to fix my probleme ? i just need that the blue line (position sizer) and gray line (MT5 market price) become one ! I talk to someone who use this software and he say to me that it was not normal. There should be a single line not two, this is my issue
Mate. It is just a bid ask line you set it up in chart properties. It is not problem It is the feature that you enabled.
right click on the chart and click properties (or you can simply click on chart press f8) than go to the "show" tab. there is "Bid price line","Ask price line" you can check or uncheck enable or disable it.

And you are completely confused by bid price ask price.. the previous message I told you the bid price is selling price and the ask price is buying price. So when you drag the SL to below current price it'll change the Blue line to Ask price (which is you are going to buy at the ask price). If you move your SL to above the current price the blue line will go to Bid price (which means you are going to sell at the bid price).

Ok i see things more clearly now. Thank you for you genuine help and your wise words.

When i am in Short Mode in Position Sizer the blue line of the position sizer is actually exactly at the right price on the candle (first image), so this is good.

However, when the Long Mode in Position Sizer is select, the blue line is not where it should be (meaning on the candle) = (second image)

Is there something i did wrong ?

Thanks again for your understanding Enrich

To see that clearly.. Move that CADCHF in the market watch to visible mode(move the scroll to see the CADCHF price in market watch). So you will see the ask line price is perfectly matched with ASK price showed in market watch..

That white line isn't "the actual market price" - it's the bid price. Since your Position Sizer is currently set for a Long direction (Buy), it put its Entry line (the Blue line) at the ask price because it's impossible to buy at a bid price, you can only do that at an ask price.

I downloaded Position Size Calculator for macOS but I cannot copy the files. I tried everything in the forum but I could not understand how to do it, I would be very grateful if you could help me with an explanation for macOS.
